The images, except for the portrait, where the vertical side measures 450 pixels, are mostly 768
by 1024 pixels in size, numbers in front of the picture descriptions are serial numbers of the original
photo files. Names of cave parts were often given by the author.
As he had done quite a few times before, the author intended to visit Velika Karlovica via the
tunnel in Rakovski Mostek. However, due to the rain in the last two days, there was not much hope. The
muddy Cerkniščica was vividly flowing through Dolenja vas, and so not only to Rakovski Mostek but also
further past Velika Karlovica. From the Cvinger viewpoint, the Stržena riverbed could also be seen,
which was already overflowing. The author therefore set off to the nearby Little Natural Bridge in Rakov
Škocjan, in order to find out whether at least Tkalca jama was still dry, or whether the river had just
started flowing into it, a sight that the author had not yet seen. But it was not necessary to go right
next to the natural bridge - the Rak River could already be heard clearly from the parking lot. As a last
resort, to make some cave photo, the author visited Mala Karlovica, and it was still dry.
