          Most images are approximately 768 x 1024 pixels in size, numbers in front of the picture descriptions are serial numbers of the original photo files. Full names of people mentioned in the descriptions: Matija Perne and Jože Stražišar.
          The purpose of the excursion was to search for the motifs of both valleys in the spring greenery.

55319. Along the path that leads through the forest from Velika Karlovica to Mala Karlovica, a black woodpecker, Dryocopus martius, has hollowed out such an oval cavity in a seemingly healthy spruce tree (diameter in the middle of the picture about 40 cm).
