Matic Prevec and Jakob Majdič from the Ljubljana Cave Exploration Society participated in the creation
of the photos in Lipiška jama.
Names of cave parts were sometimes given by the author.
The main purpose of the excursion was to photograph the Great Stalagmite in the Big Hall of
the Lipiška jama. There was a partial success, but some work still remains to be done.

Cavers of Novo Mesto won the contest, for exploration of the Trnljulčica deep cave on Mount Kanin. In just a few excursions from August to the end of 2024, they advanced from a depth of 40 meters to 925 meters, where they were stopped by a siphon. The assumption that it is just a trapped water, which some disputed at the award ceremony, is very likely correct. The entrance to the cave is at an altitude of 2036 meters, so the siphon is 1111 meters above sea level. The altitude of the final siphons in Renejevo brezno, in P 4 and in Brezno pod Žičnico, which may all be the level of the central Kanin aquifer, is approximately 1030 meters, and from the depth of Matt siphon in Rene, we know that this aquifer is at least 82 meters deep. As Trnuljčica has already already advanced very close to P 4, there is about 80 meters of additional depth to gain in Trnuljčica, to the terminal siphon.
