Lanski vrh, September 19

54287. Tree mushrooms on a spruce stump overgrown with moss along Vajzova cesta. The author removed grass that was spoiling the view of the mushrooms.

54286. Caving veterans during the lunch after the external accessories on the north side of the Članska vas cottage were greatly improved.

54285. Manč was even more satisfied as the new table with benches in front of the cottage door which he made was such a success.

The cave under the Karlovec Castle, September 26

54292. View across the emerging lake from the Cvinger viewpoint

54303. The entrance to the cave is in a fissure, in the direction east-west, just wide enough for a person to pass.

54295. Another attempt to find a perfect composition for the rock that fell from the ceiling when the road around the lake was renovated.

54296. The dripping of saturated rainwater on the brown flowstone heap moved from the nascent stalagmite a little further, to a more inclined slope, resulting in a layer of white flowstone. The wooden ball at the bottom right has a diameter of 4 cm.

54298. At the slope above the passage to the lower hall, several stalagmites grew, too thick to be knocked off and carried away, so they remained. The photo shows them from the southern, lower side.

54300. At the upper end of the hall, behind the nicely flowstone covered top of the collapse, there is a substantial plateau with a several meters high flat ceiling of a reddish color.

54302. On the upper left of the previous photo is a stone with many thicker stone curtains. Tapping on them produced beautiful sounds. After the cave was locked years ago due to the repeated looting of animals in it, unknown perpetrators sawed off the hinges of the door and broke most of the mentioned curtains. Underneath remained this triangular portal, covered on the outside with brown flowstone, and with white on the inside. The outer white triangle does not have a horizontal base side. If it was, it would be 9 cm long.

54301. A wealth of curves and small closed indentations in the dripstone decoration of a flat surface with the buds of four stalagmites. The longer side of image would be 42 cm long.
