On the Slope in the Hall of Four / May 2004
The calendar concept was finalized after a prolonged
consideration of bolder scenarios, to show full-length portraits of
DZRJL cavers, single or in pairs, in Najdena jama Cave, Slovenia.
All monthly photos were taken in September and October 2014, the cover photo
is of earlier date, from May 2004. Najdena jama, 5.110 meters long and
121 meters deep, is one of the main DZRJL discoveries from half a century
ago, part of the Ljubljanica river underground system.
It is located near the village Laze, on
the northern rim of Planinsko polje valley in Slovenia,
roughly halfway from Venice to Vienna. Locations in the cave are
not far from the entrance, with a few exceptions.
Besides weekend days and Slovenian holidays the two main lunar phases, the new
moon and full moon, are also depicted. Calendar is of wider A3 format
(438 x 294 mm with 8 mm of white border).

Concept and photography were made by Primož Jakopin - Klok who also contributed the calendar design, aided by Vitalij Martinenko.
